Strange. I am VERY satisfied with mine. It takes about 20 seconds to initiate, but then it copies "normally" and quietly....even double-sided today - tremendous for 60 francs. Are you - like me - connected by cable or blue tooth? maybe that could be the reason for the difference? In any case, I wish him a speedy recovery......

Yes, you can scan with this printer. Place the document or photo on the support surface, open the IJ Scan Utility Lite on your computer, select "Document" or "Photo", adjust settings such as resolution or format if necessary and click Scan. You can also scan via the Canon PRINT app on your smartphone by placing the document, opening the app, selecting Scan and adjusting the settings.

Yes, your printer can print in 10x15 cm as it supports borderless printing and common photo papers such as GP-501 or PP-201 are compatible. I recommend Canon GP-501 photo glossy paper (10x15 cm, 100 sheets), which is ideally matched to Canon PIXMA inks and delivers glossy, quick-drying photos. You can find it in the Canon shop under compatible photo paper for the PIXMA TS5351i.

The printer has a CIS flatbed scanner unit with an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi and can scan documents and photos. It is possible to save scanned documents directly to a PC, as the scanning software offers automatic recognition of the scanned object type and allows settings for the storage location of the scans. Saving in PDF format is also supported by the scanning software, so you can save scanned documents as PDF files.

You do not need to have a PIXMA Print Plan to use the printer. The printer will work without the plan and you can buy generic ink cartridges. However, the PIXMA Print Plan is a convenient option that offers automatic ink delivery and cost savings if you print regularly.
