I have the same device and know your suffering. There are many who have to struggle with connection problems, metallic and crackling sound. The Corsair forum and other forums are full of such tales of woe. Perhaps there is now a sustainable solution for your problem: https://www.reddit.com/r... https://forum.corsair.com/forums... Search terms: connection loss, connection drop, connection issue I was also experiencing constant wireless dongle connection drops in combination with a metallic and crackling sound. After a few weeks of problem-free operation, these problems (I assume) occurred after the Windows 10 update to Build 1903. Solution for me: Clean Windows 10 reinstallation on an empty partition without (!) subsequent installation of iCUE. Of course, some people don't want to do without these features, but for me the operation with the "standard software" of Windows is sufficient (sound and microphone work without problems in both USB and wireless mode). Btw: Corsair promises to have these problems under control with almost every new iCUE software. The forum posts paint a different picture. For me, this broken software will not be used again for the time being. Another hint: Your USB hub only has a limited number of so-called endpoints. A device does not necessarily use only one endpoint. The Corsair Virtuoso occupies 5 (!) endpoints in USB mode. If you occupy all available endpoints or even more than the available ones due to additional USB devices, you run into a resource shortage and Windows starts to prioritise the endpoint resources independently (and according to my observations constantly). If your wireless dongle has to walk the plank, you will inevitably experience disconnections (and as long as no resources are allocated to the dongle, you will not be able to reconnect). Note 1: Even a plugged-in USB cable (without a connected device) can occupy endpoints under certain circumstances! Note 2: An external USB hub (whether powered or unpowered) is not a solution to this problem, as it does not give you more endpoints (only more USB ports). I suspect (haven't tested it myself) only a PCI-E USB card could expand the USB endpoints. You can check the number of endpoints a device occupies with the following software: https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbtreevie... Good luck with solving your problem! Don't waste too much time with it, a return and refund of the purchase price is justified enough in my eyes, with reference to the many and varied problems (see Corsair forum).

Hello I recently bought the Virtuose. I wasn't aware that it had ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) (I didn't find anything on the Corsair site itself). I definitely didn't have a storage bag with me (but I don't miss it either). According to the Corsair website, this is included in the "SE" version, as you have already written. Many greetings Roman

If you don't read the specs before you buy the headset, don't be surprised if a feature isn't included. I only use the headset via dongle, so I can't help you with your Bluetooth problem. But have you tried the switch (wired/wireless) on the right earcup? And maybe this will help: https://forum.corsair.com/forums...

Hey, the headset works with macOS, ICUE is required. So on my Mac from 2018 it didn't work but on my current Macbook Pro without any problems. However, configuring and "controlling" the headset takes a bit of getting used to. But once you have everything set up, it works flawlessly and very high quality.

Icue installed? Firmware up to date? I have been using the headset every day for several months and it always works... P.S.: Try a different USB port for the receiver...

The mobile phone and console use a four-pin 3.5 mm plug. This not only carries the stereo audio signal, but also the microphone input. However, most PCs use two separate 3.5mm jacks for audio and microphone. So if you plan to use the headset with the cable and neither your mobile nor your case has this four-pin connector, you will need an appropriate adapter.

This headset supports Windows surround sound. For me, if I lose the connection to the computer because I'm walking around the flat with the headset, for example, I hear that it resets the EQ. In other words: I don't think you can set the headset to "bass boost" etc and then continue playing on another device with the same settings. However, I could be wrong about this and it can be saved on the headset after all. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to test a direct comparison.

In fact, it's not so much the diameter as the thickness of the padding on the ear. It is indeed too small and after a while you feel discomfort or pressure on your ears. I have somehow come to terms with this: take the headset off your head now and then and everything is OK again. The quality of the sound and the incredibly good microphone outweigh this. I won't give the headset away again, especially because of the mute button on the microphone.

In theory, yes. On the PC, you first have to set the dongle to playstation mode via icue, then you can use the BT function for Discord via PC or, even better, smartphone.
