Hello Skater380 I have solved it with an adapter. works wonderfully Hama 54572 Jack adapter (headset adapter, black)
No, it is not possible. However, you can set up a hotkey at the window level.
Hello You still have the table control with the Zx. This is practical for quick loud and quiet control and was used by me as a replacement for the front connections on the PC itself. Because they broke after a while due to frequent plugging and unplugging, or they made a noise. In addition, I can leave a headset (desktop control) and a set of speakers (at the back of the sound card) connected at the same time without having to move them around and crawl behind the PC. You can simply switch between headset and speakers in the software. The software works well and also has an equaliser and a number of other setting options. By the way, the difference between onboard and sound card is huge. I am very satisfied with the Zx and would recommend it or buy it again. Greetings Sebastian
Hello SherlockHolmes A PCI-e card, in this case (x1), it doesn't matter which PCI-e port you plug it into. So, yes, you can also put the card in a 16x PCI-e slot :)
The Zx and Z are identical, and the Zx comes with a control module. For 250 Ohm headphones, however, I would recommend the ZxR, which has a very good headphone amplifier. In addition, the Control Module is better, there is no difference in sound whether the headphones are connected directly to the ZxR or to the Control Module. With the Zx, on the other hand, the control module is simply no good, the headphones are noticeably quieter and the quality is no longer the same. That's why I switched from the Zx to the ZxR. In the meantime, however, I have switched to an external DAC/AMP with headphone amplifier, which is the best choice anyway and often a cheaper price for the same or better sound quality. It just depends on whether you need all the effects and EQ settings that the Zx(R) offers. However, I was very satisfied with the ZxR. I only bought the external DAC/AMP to get rid of the noise from the studio monitors. Sound quality is virtually identical between the ZxR and the DAC/AMP I have.
Hello Sherlock, Firstly, the difference should only be the control, which is unnecessary in my opinion. I just checked the manufacturer's website and YES you can connect your 250 ohm headphones to this sound card. How much did your 250 Ohm headphones actually cost?
this will indeed probably be the box... The card itself is approx. 13x11x2cm...The controller is also shown tiny in relation to the card....this one is about the size of a fist.
