Streaks in mop mode are usually caused by dirty or excessively dry mops. Clean the mops thoroughly or moisten them slightly and the problem should disappear.
Hello Matsofla,
this has not yet happened with our Dreame X50. Is the location of the base station displayed correctly in the app? If not, and if it were to happen to us, I would first perform a reset: reinstall the Dreame app.
Then I would have our home mapped again with the app and the Dreame X50. Hopefully someone else from the Community knows more.
Good luck! Marco
Don't change... then stay with Xiaomi or Roborock. Mop and vacuum are absolutely brilliant. But the station has problems. Especially with retracting and extending. That's why I returned it. Better get Roborock saros
Check the setting in the app under "Settings for floor cleaning" - "Raise LDS automatically" - if this is set to "Off", it will not retract the tower. The best setting is "Safe cover".
The Dreame X50 Ultra only works with one docking station. Multiple stations on different floors cannot be used automatically.
Although it can store up to 4 cards for different floors, they must be moved manually. Without a station on the floor, it can only vacuum dry, not mop or clean itself.
Mops and docking stations of the Matrix 10 Ultra are not compatible with the X50 Ultra.
They differ mechanically and functionally, so only original X50 Ultra parts should be used.
Unfortunately, we have no experience of this ourselves. However, we recommend that you ask such a question as a discussion, as experience has shown that more customers respond there than to a single question.

The robot hoover can detect an open loft on the floor and prevents it from falling down thanks to a stair locker function. This means it recognises fall edges and stairs and does not drive down them. It also has an obstacle detector and laser navigation that help it navigate around the room safely.
Vacuuming at the station is loud, but it only lasts a few seconds. Vacuuming and mopping in the rooms is not too loud in my opinion. You also have 3 options for adjusting the volume
Unfortunately, we do not have any personal user experience with this product, but I am happy to forward your question to the Community, perhaps a Community member can help you.
Please contact us, we may be able to arrange the spare part or station via our supplier. However, we do not carry the station as a separate product in our range.
The pads have a microfibre cleaning side. We also have wooden parquet in our whole flat except for the bathroom and toilet. We are very satisfied and the parquet seems unaffected. Good luck with Entschieden.
I'm currently using the universal cleaner supplied, then I'll pour in the parquet plaster/care product (mild soap cleaner) and wait to see the result...
Hi, Unfortunately I often read that the rollout was too early and the robot performs very strange actions, obstacle detection doesn't work or that the app is very bad. In general, the opinions on the net are clearly peppered with the fact that the robot is very bad. If you ignore the clear Marketing poses.
As this is the only robot so far that can overcome the many thresholds (up to 5cm) in my home, I would like to buy it. However, I don't want to spend so much money on a machine that has so many faults. For the money, the machine has to do what it promises.
Unfortunately, I can't see any mention from the manufacturer that they have recognised the problems or that they want to do something about them. Do you have any information with a guarantee for a comprehensive firmware update?
Otherwise I'm waiting for the competition... There isn't much competition at the moment when it comes to climbing robots.
The Dreame X50 Ultra Complete is equipped with several functions that allow it to be used efficiently in multi-storey condominiums without having to move the base station.
## Multiple floors and base station
- The robot can clean on different floors without having to move the base station. However, the base station must remain in a fixed location, as the robot must return there after cleaning to recharge and empty itself.
## Return to the base station
- When cleaning is finished and the base station is on another floor, the robot will attempt to return to the base station. The X50 Ultra Ultra Complete has advanced laser navigation (LiDAR) and VersaLift navigation, which enable it to overcome obstacles and steps of up to 6 cm. This means that it is able to navigate between floors to return to the base station, provided the steps are no higher than 6 cm.
## Behaviour if the base station is lost
- If the robot cannot find the base station, it will not drive around looking for it all the time. Instead, it will head for a safe place and wait there until it is brought to the base station manually. The X50 Ultra Complete's comprehensive app also makes it possible to control the robot manually and guide it to the base station if necessary.
Overall, the Dreame X50 Ultra Complete is well suited to multi-storey homes, thanks to its advanced navigation and ability to negotiate obstacles.
Dear team,
We use Dreame X50 Ultra for our 1,000m2 clothing shop. It recognises the clothes very well and doesn't tangle them. Over clothes that hang close to the floor, it moves nicely underneath and carries out its vacuuming and mopping tasks. We have divided the 1 room into several zones, as it was initially overwhelmed by the wide variety of challenges (mirrors, racks, changing room structures as if shopping trolleys, moved clothes racks, long metal racks). Since the manual division into several "rooms/zones", it cleans perfectly.
As we have a warehouse on 3 floors in the same building (3 x 500 m2 each) and 1 lift, the following question: Can the robot be supplemented with additional docking stations?
In other words, 1 robot with 4 stations on different floors. This would allow it to carry out its task without having to return to the original station to recharge the battery or change the water. If the battery goes to 0%, after a while it may stop the previous task.
2nd question: Regarding the latest Matrix 10 Ultra model: Can the mops be purchased separately and used manually for the Dream X50?
As the Dream X50 probably doesn't work with the Matrix 10 docking station - or does it?
Looking forward to your answer :) and
Kind regards
Alexandra
A 4cm threshold and another rail on top of it seems very difficult to me. The highest threshold here with us in Zurich is 2.7 cm high 3.5 cm away because of a front elevation , and that goes just fine. The Dream X50 finds its way, does not give up when overcoming obstacles and learns all the time. Because of the obstacle wheels and tipping function, it really is an asset. We used to have a predecessor modell where we had to put wedges in front of the thresholds. This is no longer necessary now. But for your threshold with rail, you may still need one more wedge quasi as a buying risk. Good luck and have fun. Mvg Marco from Zurich, in Switzerland for 33 years.
There is no explicit indication or recommendation for the use of parquet care products with the robot hoover in the available information on the appliance. The robot has automatic water regulation for mopping, which indicates that it can work with water or special mopping solutions, but there is no explicit mention of whether or which parquet care products are compatible or recommended.
It is advisable to check the manufacturer's instructions or contact customer service before using parquet care products to avoid damage to the parquet or the appliance. In general, care should be taken not to use aggressive care products or care products that are not suitable for robotic floor cleaners on sensitive floors such as parquet.
