I installed an intel i5-14600k on this board, the processor was already working with the basic bios. Updating is still recommended, for the specific revision of my motherboard (rev 0 ) this is the link to the new bios. https://www.ecs.com.tw/en... Version: 2023/09/27 Asus's documentation is much better than ECS's for installing the bios using windows: - restart the PC - deactivate intel ME from the bios - back in windows download the new bios - in the package there is a folder called BgtWin64 - with an administrative command run the file UPDATE.BAT I am currently using it for about a week, good hardware, little documentation. If you plan to install windows on a raid 5 m2 (like I did) you have to get the chipset and controller drivers first. The windows installer does not recognise out-of-the-box drives.
