Hello
I have actually installed two of these cards on my mainboard (ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-F GAMING WIFI ).
However, I initially had problems with the PCI Express settings.
The card was recognised as a monitor connection. I then switched to GEN 3 in the PCI Express settings.
It may be the case with all Rog motherboards that certain USB chipsets interfere with expansion cards.
You also need to check whether the PCI Express speed (x4, x8, x16) is correct for the card.
Therefore read your mainboard manual!
Otherwise, if there are not enough USB ports, very good.
If everything is occupied with external HDDs, the copy speed is somewhat slower.
With the USB-C sockets, a maximum of 1-2 devices and with USB A sockets a maximum of 1 device would be plugged in.
Always connect the mouse and keyboard directly to the mainboard.
I would use a power strip for USB HDDs that are powered by a power supply unit,
where you can switch on each ext. HDD separately.
This is sometimes a bit of a fiddle with Windows 11.
Hello
I cannot tell you anything about this.
The card was bought to expand the USB ports.
However, I have to say that the copying speed when you connect an external fast HDD to the USB-C socket,
is not what you want. However, the speed of over 130 MB/sec is still pleasant.
But I also have two such cards installed.
It could also be a compatibility problem with my mainboard.
And Windows 11 Pro is also a pain sometimes.
And somewhere in the device manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark!
It's best to contact the manufacturer yourself, as Digitec would have to do the same.
But in my opinion, it might be possible if no other end devices are connected to it.
Because 4K does need some juice.
But read up here:

Yes, this should also work with your old motherboard with PCIe V2.0 slots.
You have to install the card in a PCIex16 slot, as it needs at least one PCIex4 slot.
To be on the safe side, I would supply the card with power via the additional SATA slot. This puts less strain on the motherboard.
I would only install the driver if Windows does not recognise the card with drivers integrated in the OS.
And I would do a BIOS update first.
