Can you tell me which cable provider in Switzerland allows such a device native? Bridge mode is pointless and unusable for a device. If it does, it must really work without the provider device and be plugged directly into the TV socket in the wall. I would be interested in such a device or the big brother 6591, if this can be operated directly without the UPC Connect Box or UPC Gigabit Connect Box at UPC native including the telephone number. Can you please shed some light on this?

I receive the Cable Box from the provider and would like to buy two repeaters. My subscription includes a performance of 500 Mbps. Would two AVM1200 repeaters be enough or would it be better to buy two AVM2400 so that I have a reserve? These seem to me to be very large...

If by reserve you mean that you can surf with 3 devices at the same time, then the 1200 would be just about enough. Most of the time you don't get 550. If you want the full power between your Fritz elements, you have to make a bridge. But I don't know if that works with them. One mesh at least.

Hello, I ordered it and wanted to connect it in bridge mode. According to UPC, this model is not compatible (I have a Connect box). In bridge mode, the power light kept flashing. Does anyone else know a trick to configure this model with UPC or was the UPC supporter right?

So: I operate the box behind the (Giga) Connect Box, this in Beidge mode. I switched the FritzBox to the mode in which it receives its Internet via LAN1. Then everything worked.

Hello Is it possible to set the UPC modem to bridge mode and use the Fritzbox 6660 Cable as a router? Connect the Wanport (LAN1 with 2.5Gbit) at the Fritzbox with the LAN1 of the UPC modem, should work like this or?

Yes, it is possible. To be able to switch the upc Box to bridge mode, it must be switched to IPv4. To do this, contact upc Support. Without IPv4, the changeover option is not even in the menu of the upc Box.
