Hello If you are in Switzerland you can only use this box as a time box Sunrise or UPC only let their junk run on the socket unfortunately. But like I did, you can set your box to bridge mode ipv4 Fritzbox manages your network. Runs tiptop Greetings

No, there is no free choice of modem in Switzerland. In my case, the box could not be activated (Sasag Kabelkommunikation AG in Schaffhausen), although my network operator sometimes includes the Fritz!Box 6690 with new subscriptions. Moreover, it is hardly worth returning it to Digitec because 10% of the sales value is charged. My tip: The Fritz!Box 4060 is a pure WLAN router with all Fritz functions and is cheaper than the Fritz!Box 6690.

You can stop looking for an adapter/transition piece. If you find something suitable, it will not do you any good. On a coax connection from upc/Sunrise, only the boxes provided by upc/Sunrise can be used as the first device on the TV socket. Third-party devices such as the Fritzbox 6690 Cable are not supported. An own router is only possible after a box from upc/Sunrise. To do this, you can switch the upc/Sunrise box to bridge mode. You can also have this circumstance cross-checked at https://community.sunrise.ch.
