Well, looking good is not enough. Inner values count and it must be an AX version! A VNP service at home only helps when travelling .... but the traffic ends up with your provider in unprotected form! A paid VPN service, e.g. from Google, is definitely better.

This should be possible. More detailed information can be found in the following operating instructions from page 30: https://gzhls.at/blob/ldb/f/d/f/3/fe3548740a613b24bf61ebd83fe0a821e450.pdf

> Can this router replace the Wingo router? (DSL copper) Yes and no. Since the AVM router does not support "G.fast", you can operate it as a DSL router in the Wingo network, but you cannot use the full speed. That's why I put it behind the Wingo box and live with the disadvantages.

Thanks for the message, I have just reported the error 👍 That is of course correct. According to the manufacturer's page, this model has the following performance: Wi-Fi 6 up to 1800 Mbit/s (5 GHz) and 600 Mbit/s (2.4 GHz). https://en.avm.de/products/fritzbox/fritzbox-7530-ax/technical-specifications/

Helpful answer

I just carried out this transfer (3490 -> 7530AX) yesterday without any problems. At the first attempt, the transfer failed because the 7530AX was delivered with a slightly older firmware version. So I started the device manually for a short time, made sure that both were running on v7.28, then the transfer worked perfectly for me, including various shares, user-defined DynDNS configuration, host name, etc.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you were able to find a suitable solution with the Zyxel DSL. If you have experience with this FritzBox and would like to share it with the community in more detail, you could click on the stars at the bottom of the product page and submit an official review 👍
