Hi There is no ski tour in mode as such but I am using it in mountain hiking mode. It does the job. I get my tracking map, my heartbeat and all the other information I am interested in. I use it as well in summer for outdoor swimming, hiking and bike riding. And the watch is really feather light. It won’t bother you. Cheers

Yes, it is possible to navigate with it. You can create or import routes with Garmin Connect (e.g. in gpx format) and then transfer them to the watch. While navigating, the watch gives directions (as well as information about remaining time, altitude profile, etc.). It also gives a warning if you go too far off track. Note that this model cannot display topographic maps.

Fenix 5s Plus also has an altimeter. Forerunner 935 is a multisport watch. I am satisfied with it. The heart rate measurement seems very accurate. The battery lasts a long time. GPS reception is tip-top. VO2max is calculated when jogging. In my opinion, this is the sport that gets the most out of this watch. The sleep phase measurement is not very accurate.

If you want to use this or such a watch, you should at least state your year of birth, weight, height and sex. Other values are measured or estimated. In this way, the watch becomes more accurate over time, e.g. if it knows your stride length and so on. Unfortunately, you cannot store two profiles and simply select them. That would be too much for such a mini-computer and would certainly only be used by a few, because many people always wear it (activity measurement, smartwatch functions, etc.). So in short: 1. yes, 2. no

The bracelet only comes in one size. My wrist circumference is also relatively narrow (15 cm) and the bracelet fits well. It does not protrude beyond the watch. Moreover, it has two straps. I didn't have to shorten the strap.

My experience is that the pulse is very accurate at rest, but there are big differences during sport. I notice it especially when cycling, where the heart rate belt is connected to the Edge 1000. There is sometimes a difference of up to 20 beats...
