When I burn a BD (BD and BD-DL) with the Cyber-Link Media Suite software (OEM version supplied), I get an error message that the burning process was not successful. I burn with the option full check after burning. The abort or error message only occurs during the check. Extensive manual checks of the burned files are always successful. I cannot find any errors. The burnt disc seems to be OK. Of course, with the amount of data, I cannot check all files manually for errors. So my question is: Am I doing something wrong with the settings? I have already tried all possible combinations and file formats (UDF 1.5 to UDF 2.6). The error message also appears with the other BD drive from ACER. A free update has also n

try the tool "imgburn" there is also explained which settings are necessary to burn bds so that they are executable.

Would like to operate the drive externally. Is it compatible with the adapter? Delock Converter USB 3.0 to SATA 3 Gb/s (Adapter, 0.30m)

I have not bought the adapter myself and operate the drive internally (I am absolutely satisfied with the product, fair price). I looked at the adapter, and according to its description, the drive should also be able to be operated externally.

I have a Mac Pro Mid2010 that I would like to upgrade with a Bluray drive and LG is recommended in many forums. Is there a Mac compatible software solution available?

Let's put it this way: Very probably, no drivers are needed because the API is standard, but without guarantee. And from then on, e.g. Roxio Toast. Or whatever. I myself have tried several LGs on a 2009 with Sierra and 2-3 versions before.
