The screen is matt (anti-glare). This applies to the 16-inch version with WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels).

Short answer: No - the HP ProBook 4 G1i usually only has a single M.2 NVMe SSD slot. This means you can replace the existing SSD (e.g. with a larger M.2 NVMe SSD), but there is no second slot for an additional SSD ex works. According to the official HP specifications, the device uses a single M.2 NVMe SSD that acts as internal storage. There is no document (e.g. maintenance manual/service guide) confirming a second SSD slot or internal drive bay for additional 2.5" SSD/HDD. If you need more storage, you will need to replace the existing SSD with a larger NVMe SSD (M.2 2280). → You may need an SSD cloning tool to back up/transfer data beforehand. Note: Replacement or upgrade SSDs must have the correct M.2 2280 NVMe format and be thin enough to fit into the laptop case. Which dock fits the HP ProBook 4 G1i? Since the ProBook 4 G1i does not have a proprietary dock connector interface on the bottom (only USB-C/Thunderbolt-capable ports), USB-C docks are the right choice. Ideally, the docking station should support USB-C with Power Delivery (PD) and Display Alt Mode to enable power, external monitors and peripherals via one cable.

It has no keyboard lighting. I had already reported this to Digitec 3 times on various channels including chat. On the HP product page / shop, you can filter for keyboard lighting in the filter under "Feature". Only the Elitebooks from the business segment are actually listed there. I also find the contrast dark grey / white on the keyboard a disaster.

The screen is anti-glare (matt) with a 14" diagonal, WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, IPS panel, and 300 nits brightness. This means it has a matt finish rather than a glossy one. The anti-glare feature reduces reflections and glare on the display.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you why there are these differences on different pages. However, the information provided by us is correct.🫡

It may indeed be the case that manufacturers do not provide new product images for each individual model variant. As a result, there may be discrepancies between the images and the actual specifications. According to the current data from the supplier, this model has no numeric keypad and no fingerprint sensor, but the keyboard is illuminated, as stated in the description. If you want to be sure, it's worth taking a look at the technical data and not just the pictures.

The BC3A2ES#UUZ model has a keyboard backlight that can be switched on and off with the usual key combination Fn + a function key (e.g. F5, F9 or F11). The illumination can be regulated in several stages. A subsequent upgrade of the SSD from 1 TB to 4 TB is generally possible, provided the notebook supports a corresponding M.2 slot for SSDs. The model has a 1000 GB SSD installed and it is usually possible to install a larger SSD (e.g. 4 TB), such as the part number you mentioned 37073751. For installation, we recommend checking the exact technical specifications and the available slot or consulting HP's service department to ensure compatibility and warranty conditions.
