At the bottom is the PCIe connection where the graphics card is plugged in. A cable is already integrated, which you plug into the top of the mainboard. So everything is included :)

The case supports standard 120 mm and 140 mm RGB fans in its fan mounting locations; any RGB fans of those sizes will fit physically. The case accepts up to three 120 mm or two 140 mm at the top, three 120 mm or two 140 mm on the side, three 120 mm or two 140 mm at the bottom, and one 120/140 mm at the rear, for a total capacity of up to 10 fans depending on sizes used (all facts from the manufacturer). Additional details and tips: - Front/side mounting is designed to showcase fan lighting, so 25–32 mm thickness fans with visible RGB rings work well; the case’s side radiator clearance (up to 125 mm thick) and bottom clearance (32 mm thick) affect which thicker RGB fans or RGB fan+filter assemblies will fit properly. - The case does not mandate a specific RGB control protocol; use fans compatible with your motherboard’s RGB headers (ARGB 3-pin 5V or 4-pin 12V) or an external RGB controller as needed—check your fan’s connector type against your motherboard/controller before buying. - HYTE’s official product pages and setup videos demonstrate popular installs using Lian Li UNI and similar RGB fan series if you want examples to follow.

The PCIe riser supplied in the housing is a PCIe 4.0 x16 riser. It therefore supports PCIe 4.0, not PCIe 5.0. However, according to the manufacturer, the existing PCIe 4.0 riser cables in the Y70, Y60 and Y40 cases are fully compatible with the RTX 50-series GPUs that use PCIe 5.0 and can operate them at full PCIe 5.0 x16 speed, even though the riser itself is PCIe 4.0.

It is not possible to install a graphics card horizontally in the Hyte Y70 PC case by default, as it is designed for vertical mounting. However, there are customised solutions, such as 3D-printed brackets, which can allow horizontal installation, but this requires modification of the case.

Thank you for pointing this out. The correction has already been requested. According to my research and the manufacturer's specifications, a maximum of 10 120mm fans fit in the case. Accordingly as follows: Top fan: 3x 120 mm / 2x 140 mm Rear fan: 1x 120/140 mm Side fans: 3x 120 mm / 2x 140 mm Bottom fan: 3x 120 mm / 2x 140 mm @ 32 mm thick This results in a maximum of 10 fans that can be installed. Unfortunately, I couldn't find out what you mean by the hard drive cage. I couldn't find any fan brackets on the HDD cage in my research.

### Compatibility and customisation options for the Hyte Y70 enclosure - Compatibility with ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI and RTX 4090: The Hyte Y70 case supports ATX mainboards, and the ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI is an ATX mainboard. It therefore fits into the case. The RTX 4090 is also compatible, as the Y70 case offers four slots for vertical graphics cards, which provides enough space for an RTX 4090. - Removing and replacing the glass front: The small slanted glass front of the Hyte Y70 can be removed. The chassis is designed to offer an LCD display option and it is possible to remove the glass front and replace it with a display. This is particularly useful as the Y70 case is specifically designed for such customisations.

A dual-GPU system is generally possible with the Y70, as the case supports ATX, mATX, ITX and E-ATX mainboards and can accommodate graphics cards up to 422 mm long. However, the effort required for such a setup is not insignificant, as the case only offers one vertical GPU slot (incl. PCIe riser) as standard and the second card would have to be mounted horizontally in the lower area of the mainboard. Cooling and space for both cards, especially with high-end models such as the RTX 5090 and 4070 Ti Super, must be critically examined - air circulation can be restricted and compatibility depends heavily on the selected mainboard and the dimensions of the cards. There is no official information on dual GPU support or specific mounting instructions for two GPUs, so it is advisable to check the exact dimensions of both graphics cards and the mainboard before purchasing and to plan the cooling solution carefully. If you have any uncertainties or special requirements, it is worth discussing them in the Community or contacting the manufacturer directly.
