I MAKE A NEW QUESTION ABOUT THE BACKPLANE ONCE AGAIN: IN THE DESKP'S CASE IT DOES NOT ENTER BECAUSE IT IS WIDER THAN THE DESKP IS A PC DELL MOD D07S. SO I WOULD NEED TO MAKE AN EXTERNAL CONNECTION. AND I REPEAT THE QUESTION: HOW DO I DO IT? THANKS

Sorry to bother you, but I have to ask a couple more questions: what do I need to power the backplane independently, and if I have to connect it externally to the PC, where do I run the cables from? Thanks in anyicipo.

The product is designed to be installed inside the PC case, as it is powered by 2 SATA and 2 Molex connectors that should be available from the PC PSU. Use outside the case is not an elegant solution, as it is necessary to provide the required power connectors from the PC's power supply using SATA and Molex power cables that are compatible with the power supply and can be routed externally to the device

Ideally with a RAID controller and corresponding cable e.g. this cable: MicroConnect miniSAS SFF8087 to 4X SATA This allows you to connect the 4 discs from the backplane to a RAID controller.
