This means that the tracker is recognised in the vicinity of another Android device in the network and can therefore be located even over longer distances. The tracker does not have direct GPS localisation in the classic sense, but uses Bluetooth for local search and the "Find my device" network for remote localisation via other Android devices. This means that localisation is not limited to Bluetooth range.
