Has anyone successfully used this emulator for 120hz output on the PS5?

I need something that was described in a tutorial as a "dummy plug" (This tutorial linked to this product: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FB4VJL9/ref=as_li_ss_tl?linkCode=sl1&linkId=6191ced995dbc47af0bf4e1f225df569&th=1&language=en_US&tag=serverdiscord-20&ie=UTF8). Is this what I am looking for?

A small question about the use as a dummy plug: How does the emulator behave when the target device is switched off? Does the emulator simulate a switched-on monitor?

One "saves" the desired monitor type to the emulator. The physical monitor is needed for this. As soon as the monitor is "saved" on the emulator, a connected monitor is no longer needed on the emulator. The emulator then "simulates" the saved monitor. The attached instructions describe the process of how this is done quite well.

Hello everyone, can this emulator also be used to make upscaling devices like the mclassic think that e.g. a 2K display is connected, although the display really has 4K resolution? Many thanks

Since the thing saves the EDID data of the last connected monitor, I don't think that will work. Maybe try an HDMI splitter that can only do FullHD...
