Can the fan also be used for the Noctua NH-U12S (15.80cm) heat sink? Does that bring any advantages?

It is certainly feasible. The PPC fans are good coolers but very loud in normal operation. Because I found them tolerable in the range of 15-40% PWM, I converted my PC back to normal NF-F12s where I can use from 0-100% without them getting too loud (with low noise adapter max. 1200rpm, without is max. 1500rpm).

Hello, why not just use the original models? Noctua Nf-p12 (120mm, 1x) this one is perfectly compatible.
