Yes, this lamp can replace an old fluorescent tube T5 13W 840/CW without you having to change anything, as it is suitable for use in existing T5 HF ballast systems. It has a similar length and is equipped with a G5 connection, which enables direct replacement.

The T5 HF LED TUBE HE14 549 7W 840 from Osram is designed to replace traditional T5 fluorescent tubes in luminaires fitted with a high-frequency (HF) electronic ballast. It has no built-in ballast, which means it requires a compatible ballast to operate. This LED tube is specifically designed for use with HF electronic ballasts and cannot be installed directly on a 230V support without such a ballast. Here are some of the key features of this product: - Power: 7W - Luminous flux: 1000 lm - Base: G5 - Life: 50,000 hours - Colour temperature: 4000K (cool white) - Dimmable: No To install this LED tube, make sure your luminaire is fitted with a compatible HF electronic ballast. You can check ballast compatibility on the LEDVANCE website.

Hi Olivo 25, If you have an electromagnetic ballast in your luminaire you need a starter, in mine it was an electronic ballast so there was no starter. The neon in question works without a starter... it won't work in your home. You need to order another neon.
