Yes, this radio also works on mains power, thanks to an included mains adapter. It can also be battery-powered for portable use. The mains adapter has a 100-240 V input and a 7.5 V, 1.0 A output.
There are no adjustment options, Robert, perhaps you should try moving the radio and aerial to a new location so that the reception is better. It works fine for me...
Also, I have only just received the message from Galaxus to answer this question. Best wishes and have a nice Sunday, Sydeboelleli
Only mono, because the radio only has one speaker. I use it for the home office and the sound quality is perfectly adequate. I usually connect it to Bluetooth so I can listen to Spotify.
I also think that an external antenna cannot be connected here. But have you already tried to run the station search outside, e.g. on the balcony (if available) and then try again indoors near the window? Sources of interference such as PCs, microwaves, LED lamps, etc. should also not be close by.
I have this unit and am very happy with it, but I am not in a shielded house. (I know this is of no use to you, but just as an info to others reading this).
Have you tried pressing the power button for a long time and then turning up the volume? Maybe the radio is in an unfavourable position and no signal is coming through.
Also try to connect with Bluethooth and mobile phone.
You can activate the sleep mode, in which the screen is dimmed and only the time and date (if enabled) are displayed.
Manufacturer's note: - If the system is inactive for 15 minutes, the radio
automatically switches to standby mode. - To increase battery life, you can turn the unit off completely by pressing and holding the button. Press and hold
and hold the button again to turn the unit back on.
Good evening wwcommerce, the device is perhaps intended to replace a simple radio. I have it in the kitchen.
I also bought a mini system because the radio signal via the cable network was stopped in our municipality, and much too early, because the signal was extended to the end of 2016. Be careful, depending on the location, a mini system can get poor digital signals and you won't find any digital stations, they are picked up with a small cable. If this is the case, you will have to buy an additional device from the cable provider. I was really annoyed because you are not informed about this... money is being made...
Hello everyone, can anyone help me?
I simply cannot save any stations. I want to save my favourites on the numbers 1 to 3, but I can't.
Whenever I switch on the radio and try to do this, I always have the same station playing. Although I use the arrow keys to change to the radio station I want to save, the same station always plays and saves it. I can't even select a different radio station. The same station is always on. What am I doing wrong?
I would be grateful for any tips and suggestions.
Since I always turn the radio off because of the illuminated display and loss of power for nothing, the settings disappear every time. I solve it like this: when setting the radio, it shows DAB and station, no information. Then press the 2nd button from the left in the upper row, the display shows: Timer off, press again, sleep off, press the 3rd time, info group, title and you have it..... I have to set it like this every time. Anyway, setting up this radio is tedious, I think, you just have to get to know it. For me, it's an ideal kitchen radio...
