The Polar M430 does offer a backlight for better readability in low light conditions, but there is no setting to switch the display on non-stop for a specific duration such as 10-15 minutes after training. However, you can switch on the backlight manually by pressing the LIGHT button. However, this light will only stay on for a short time until it switches off automatically to protect battery life. There is no integrated function that switches the display on for longer than the standard illumination time.
Automatically generated from the .Hello, M/L or S/M only concerns the size of the wristband. On the official polar site it says: - Training with GPS and optical heart rate measurement: up to 8 hours. - Daily training session, continuous heart rate monitoring and smart notifications: 5 day - No training sessions, no smart notifications, continuous heart rate measurement: 14 days bye
Good day Ask yourself directly at digitec.
Only the universal size (M/L) with a wrist circumference of 130-210 mm is available in this colour. Size S with wrist circumference 130-187 mm is only available in white. -> Polar M430 S (plastic, silicone, S)
Smart notifications are optional and the watch also has a flight mode.
Unfortunately, the black version is sold out and cannot be procured by us at the moment.
The minimum circumference for S is 13cm and the maximum is 18.7cm.
You can sync your Polar Flow account with Strava, then it should upload automatically. From the Polar website: "You can now automatically sync your workouts from the Polar Flow web service to Strava. All you need to do is connect your Polar Flow account to the Strava service and you can see your workouts in Strava too!" https://support.polar.com/ch-de/support/how_can_i_automatically_sync_my_data_from_polar_flow_to_strava
According to the specialists, you can change the clock to German.
The M430 is available in sizes M/L and S for a smaller wrist circumference. The watch is exactly the same size, only the strap is shorter in size S.
The measurement data of a training session can be exported as a CSV file. The heart rate is listed in it as follows: Time HR (bpm) 00.00.00 82 00.00.01 82 00.00.02 82 00.00.03 83 00.00.04 83 00.00.05 83 00.00.06 84 00.00.07 84 00.00.08 85 I don't know if this is enough for an HRV evaluation. :)
According to the manufacturer, the M430 runs out of steam after a total of eight hours of training with GPS tracking and heart rate measurement - then the battery with its 240 milliampere hours (mAh) needs fresh energy from the socket. However, an additional energy-saving mode should extend the operating time to a total of 30 hours. However, the device then no longer records the GPS position permanently, but only every 60 seconds.
