Thanks for the info!
This monitor can be used as a 2nd monitor on any device that has a video output. The display options are managed via W10.
No, you would need a second connection on the PC or notebook.
Digitec Galaxus has daily prices for all items! You order something on Thursday and it is delivered by the post office on Friday afternoon and on Saturday morning at 08:00 the same item costs CHF 148.- less :/
Unfortunately, it's really only an HDMI cable.
You should be able to find out: Apple menu -> About this Mac -> Support -> Specifications -> Graphics and Video Support. My 2015 Mac Book Pro says that it can support two more displays with up to 3840x2160 pixels...
We are not using PIP, but we often use the monitor to put side-by-side 2 window's application on the same PC. With Windows 10 this is very easy, just select and slide the window left or right. Is quite better than working with two screens. The PIP funcion usualy can be used with 2 separate input (i.e. 2 CP's). We have at the moments 3 of these monitor and the feedback is positive.
I have two 34", 3440 x 1440 curved monitors and would think I would be just as happy without the curve.
I don't really use the screen for video editing, but I have tried it out. You have a lot of space ;)
If the appropriate output is available on the MacBook, this is possible. An adapter is usually necessary with the new models
Hello, This is configurable in Windows. Here is a guide on how to do it: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-change-monitor-refresh-rate-windows-10
Yes, that's what Windows does. Either move the window to the edge or use the Windows and cursor keys (i.e. to the left or to the right).
Hello, I bought the Samsung 2 months ago, and I am satisfied with it. I use it for office work and also for gaming (COD, PUBG). I got it at Digitec for CHF 379, which is a very good value for money. The WQHD resolution is bigger than the LG. I have a RX 5700 xt and it runs very well! I can only recommend it.
Correct, does not have built-in speakers.
I have also only connected my monitor to an HDMI, but I had to replace the graphics card because my old one did not match the resolution of the screen. So the connection probably works, but whether the monitor can be fully used depends on the resolution of the graphics card.
Should not be a problem, at most you will need the appropriate adapter cable like one of these: https://www.digitec.ch/Comparison/10158083-6393362-5655803-10803989 Greetings

Unfortunately, we can't answer this question for you, as we haven't been able to try this out in such a form, but I'll be happy to enter it in the community, perhaps a user can help you :)
Yes, you can tilt it for- and backwards. While not specifying which direction, Samsung lists these angels: -1.5°(±1.0°) ~ 15.0°(±2.0°)
I have a hq docking station but only use one laptop. I think if you combine it with a switch, you can switch between the two laptops (input sources)...
Hello. You can display multiple applications and optimise the layout with FancyZones, Microsoft PowerToys tools.
Yes, that's no problem, this resolution is supported via DisplayPort 1.4 as well as HDMI 2.0, but I wouldn't buy this screen at all, because the notebook can also support the much better resolution 3840 x 2160 (UHD 4K), which brings more resolution not only in width but also in height. These monitors have the 4K UHD resolution and are better suited for screen work: Samsung S32A800 (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 32 ") LG 32UN550-W (3840 x 2160 Pixels, 32 ")
Hello - Unfortunately, this is not possible - neither does the monitor have USB ports according to the description, nor can USB ports be "conjured" via Displayport or HDMI - there are no adapters for this. You would therefore have to stick a USB hub to the back of the monitor and connect it to your computer via USB. LG and happy holidays.
I haven't used it on a Mac yet, but I had a similar problem on a PC. By changing the cable with higher frequency support, it worked. (Displayport)
Hello The good piece has a so-called VESA mount, i.e. the possibility of attaching various monitor arms via a kind of universal attachment point: VESA wall mount type 100 x 100 mm. Now you can filter in the category monitor holder according to Vesa 100x100 and the weight and your wishes and see what you like or what suits you - I have tried to click together the filter for you: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/monitor-halterung-1986?opt=v1368-11853%3A1&pdo=1368-841%3A402&rsl=1368-2940%3A6%3A11300&tagIds=77-624 Hope that helps :)
