This question has already been answered many times in the reviews. Again... Yes, the HD fits perfectly in the PS4 and the installation with the backup function is child's play.
I would use something like this to fix it:
Sharkoon Bay Extension
Maybe you need a SATA cable that connects to the Mobo?

Hello. I made the switch a few weeks ago and no problems with the Seagate M9T. Everything fits together as it should and the dd is recognized by the PS4 without a hitch.
I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to make sure that it's compatible with the PS4.

I suspect that it will not fit (height). Unfortunately, I cannot say exactly which HDD is installed in your notebook, so it is best to measure the installed one briefly. Pay particular attention to the height.
