The monitor is suitable for gaming. The colour brilliance is in the midfield, the sharpness very good. The monitor has no speakers. I use the monitor for programming.

I have connected a PC with a corresponding graphics card via Displayport. That works with 4K resolution. I don't know enough about Hdmi, the data volume could be too large... I don't know what this tv box can do either...
I think so: I have a Lenovo laptop-A3D3TSPK, Intel i7-8550U CPU @1.80GHz, 16 GB RAM, 64 bit and reach the maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with the Samsung U32J59. I'm very satisfied with this screen; just note that you can't adjust the height. The bottom of the screen is fixed 9 cm from the tabletop.

You don't need an external monitor to connect Apple keyboard or trackpad. They connect directly to your MacBook via Bluetooth.

It depends on your console or PC and its performance. I use Ultra HD with my PS4 Pro (amazing graphics on the monitor!) and my PC, but not with all games because my graphics card sometimes doesn't like it. Note: of the two HDMI hooks, only one supports UHD, the other only FullHD.

No, there is no USB hub on this monitor. Connect the mouse directly to the computer.
