It all depends on the use but it goes from 55 to 88 mo/s without cache and 105 with write cache, this hard drive is good and reliable but it runs at 5500 not 7200rpm, I recommend it for steam and epic store or for backup of some files not for anything else, for other things and speed freaks ssd qvo and evo from samsung do much better for 220.- the 4TB

They are all equally fast, the difference is only in the software available on one model, the One Touch has this additional software on the disc. You can buy the respective low-priced model without hesitation. By the way, all Seagate USB enclosures contain Seagate Barracuda disks. They also have a SATA interface, i.e. you can tear open the case and continue to use the disc in another device.

It could be due to the formatting. It is best to check whether the disks are formatted in the same way. Fat32, ExFat, NTFS, all of these can have an influence. And always use the same benchmark tool for testing, I recommend Crystaldiskmark. It is also important to copy a larger amount of data than can be processed in the hard disk cache.
