The slim is more compact, lighter and perfect if you play games that aren't too demanding in terms of performance.

No, you cannot connect an external Blu-ray drive to play games or movies on the Playstation 5 Pro Digital Edition. The PS5 Digital Edition model, including the Pro version, does not support external Blu-ray drives for playing discs. To play discs, an official Sony disc drive specifically designed for the PS5 Digital Edition must be attached to the console chassis.

We always do our utmost to ensure that goods are delivered on the day they are dispatched, but unfortunately this can never be guaranteed as there can always be logistical problems with the supplier, our warehouses or the carrier.

As our warehouse is largely automated and we aim to process orders and deliveries as quickly as possible, we are unfortunately unable to control which version is ultimately dispatched.

The difference is not huge, as you don't have PSSR here either. At most a slightly higher frame rate. But brand new games are finally utilising the Pro properly: Resi 9, Crimson Desert...
I'm not much of a gamer, but when I am I like the options to be top notch and this is the case, graphically and fluidly. I don't regret my PS5 Pro purchase at all.
