Hello comrades I have the problem with the adapter that the 980 PRO does not fit with the fat coolers. The adapter has the narrow piece on the left, but the 980 PRO has it on the right if you want to leave the cooler on. There are adapter plates, but I haven't found a suitable one yet. Does anyone know of one? So one with the narrow piece on the left, and you can then mount the SSD on the plate with the narrow piece on the right.

will this work with nvme or with m.2 ssd drives and what will the data transfer rate be like?

Hello, you can use two m.2 ssd, the speed will be as fast as the sata port 6.0 Gbps.

Could two of these slide-in units be inserted in the 9017061 or 6408003? Or only one slide-in in the 5826264 case. Thank you for a precise clarification. Greetings

So I was able to test it with 5826264 unfortunately I don't have the other housings at hand please note that the m.2 must not be an nvme otherwise the raid adapter will not work

No. You need either a PCIe card or an external enclosure that also supports NVMe SSDs.
