We work with different suppliers and cannot distinguish the versions from each other for logistical reasons. So different versions can be in circulation at the same time. The v4 version is a bit older and I don't think we could get that at all. It should rather be v5 or v6. Variations are still possible, depending on the source of supply in the background.

I bought this adapter because it seemed to me from published opinions that it must be "Linux-friendly". But that was not the case, and so far I have not been able to use it in Linux. I suspect you would have a similar experience in Android.
