If there is an optical audio output, the transmitter is connected via Toslink cable, the 5V power supply is provided by a free USB connection on the TV. On my Sony TV, the Sound Bar, which is connected via ARC, must be switched off. This is the only way to ensure that the Toslink connection is working and that a headphone or loudspeaker sound can be played back via Bluetooth. Furthermore, the transmission protocols must correspond.
