The WD 510 that I have just bought and which is therefore in my procession is sold as being a 4000 GB drive, i.e. 4 TB, and is recognised by my system ( W11) as being A Wd 510 but once it's been assembled and formatted I get a drive with a size of 465 GB. There seems to be a problem and I'm reluctant to send this drive back for fear of ending up with the same problem.

Could Digitec please enter the correct warranty periods for these products again! For the WD Blue as well as for the SANDISK Ultra 3D series there is a 5 year manufacturer's warranty, NOT just 2 or 3! Link has been removed, please adhere to our Community Guidelines Thank you

Hello, my HP Proliant ML350 Gen9 used to have WD Blue 500GB installed. When expanding the capacity, I decided in favour of WD Red 2TB. After installing the first Red SDD, I noticed that the fans were running at 100% for a certain period of time. Research has shown that the power consumption of the 2TB Red is 3 watts and that of the 2TB Blue is 0.3 watts, which explains the howling of the fans. According to the technical data from Galaxus, the Blue 2TB have a power consumption of 0.3 watts. According to the manufacturer, however, they have 3 watts. Before buying the WD BLUE 2TB, I would like to know whether the information from Digitec is correct and binding. Thank you very much
