PC or polycarbonate is one of the most advanced industrial thermoplastics, known for its extreme robustness, durability, and high strength. PC is recognized for its excellent impact resistance and is commonly used for manufacturing rigid parts. Additionally, PC is highly heat resistant (up to 110 °C), making it an ideal substitute for metals in high-temperature environments, such as under the hood of a vehicle. Parts printed with PC are primarily used in later stages of functional testing and assembly of the finished components. Printed PC parts have been successfully utilized in manufacturing, with or without post-processing.
