My private network in a cooperative WLAN
I use the router to set up my own network with the WLAN Internet of another network. This router makes it possible not only to repeat a WLAN signal, but also to create a new network protected by the other network. Of course with the logical consequence that such a network does not set any speed records ;)

Ideal expansion of my network
Oh, how nice it would be if there were a standard for mesh across all providers. For me, there is nothing wrong with this device. It's my second Fritz!Box 4040 and I use it for network distribution via Ethernet cable as well as for WLAN coverage of the house. Ingenious with mesh. But you can only add AVM devices to the mesh.

Incredible performance for the price
Have modem from Thurcom. Optimal router for the home network. VPN formation also easy possible. Network storage also integrated. Exactly what I was looking for.
I have already set up Wlan with Ubiquiti. Otherwise I would immediately work with the Fritz repeaters.
