Network Video Recorder (NVR)
From experience, the Reolink IP cameras work very well and reliably.
The manufacturer support responded quickly to the report of the defects I found during testing. It will probably take some time to fix them. In the explanatory videos, you see a device with 3 fans, but the delivered device only has a small CPU fan, which is not enough to cool the device and the hard drives. The brackets and housing openings, as well as power connections for two small 40mm fans are present. I have upgraded the unit with these so that the hard disks and the control unit do not get too hot.
Since not all functions can currently be managed via remote access, the unit can only be recommended if you are always on site at the unit. Whether the processing power is sufficient for operating 32 cameras is questionable,
I prefer to stay with my PC-based solution.

Software update causes serious faults, had to dismantle all cameras and reset them manually. After that it worked again. The PC app that is offered for managing the NVR is extremely poor and simple troubleshooting is not possible unless you use the monitor on the NVR.
