The NT1 Signature Black impresses with the silky-transparent sound of the legendary NT1-A, the perfectly linear bass frequency response of the black NT1, and the extremely low self-noise of the 5th generation NT1 – together forming an ideal combination for vocals, speech, acoustic guitars, piano and grand piano, orchestral strings, and many other sound sources.

Thanks to its minimal self-noise of only 4 dBA, the NT1 Signature Black is excellent for quiet instruments. With a maximum sound pressure level of 142 dB, it is also well-suited for recording guitar and bass amplifiers, miking brass instruments, as a drum overhead, or for other loud sound sources. Its compact size and lightweight design allow the NT1 Signature Black to be easily and stably positioned even with simple stands.
