The water detector SHT 5002 is a device for level control (2-point controller). It defines an upper and a lower level through two water sensors or float switches and can be used for the automatic filling or emptying of a container. A potential-free relay contact is used to control the pump (Relay K1 Level: max. 5 A / 230 V, Relay K2 Overflow: max. 5 A / 230 V).
Additionally, the water detector SHT 5002 offers another sensor input for an overflow alert (e.g., in case of pump failure) with a potential-free relay contact. This allows for the control of a signal transmitter, a magnetic shut-off valve, a telephone dialer, or even a bus system.
Through wire bridges, it is possible to store the overflow alert and acknowledge it by pressing a button. In the default setting, the overflow alert is automatically cleared after the water level drops below the threshold.
Applications: Level control for cisterns or for pump control (emptying or filling containers).
