Adjustable torso height: The X40 has three height options with a vertical adjustment range of approximately 9 cm (3 inches). This means that the same backpack can fit smaller or larger male or female torso sizes, ensuring a customized fit for everyone. People with larger or wider torsos can add our Booster Kit to extend the fit of the backpack.

Core Unit modular camera insert system: The X40 utilizes our DSLR Core Unit series. Core Units provide shockproof protection for mirrorless and DSLR cameras and lenses, ensuring the user never carries more padding and weight than necessary. The X40 v2 can accommodate our small, medium, and large DSLR sizes. It can also accommodate our flatter mirrorless series.

Two laptop/tablet sleeves: The padded sleeves on the back and front are suitable for laptops up to 16 inches in size. With two sleeves, you can pack both a tablet and a laptop, giving you options for different packing scenarios.

Expandable roll-top access: We've equipped the Action X Series with roll-top access so the bag can be customized to your gear needs while maintaining a tight and compact fit. The roll-top can be expanded with a volume range of 7 liters. The top also features an additional YKK SplashGuard® zip with quick access, making access to your gear extremely quick and easy, especially in bad weather.

Hidden tracking device sleeve: A new hidden sleeve for a personal tracking device so you always know where your pack is. If your rucksack gets lost, a tracker can help you find its location and retrieve your equipment. The cover is suitable for AirTag and Tile Pro devices.
