If you prefer a lower setup, the center column can also be mounted upside down, bringing your camera closer to the ground.

With its non-slip rubber feet and the included metal spikes, the tripod stands securely on any surface. For added stability, the hook on the center column can be weighted down with, for example, a backpack. The 4 leg sections can be quickly released and locked again using the twist locks.
