Product details

Thermal Paste The Slice Engineering Boron Nitride thermal paste enhances conductivity and acts as a separating agent. Unlike anti-seize compounds, boron nitride is not electrically conductive, eliminating the risk of a short circuit in your heating cartridge or thermistor.

Usage: Use the included applicator to coat the heating cartridge opening in your 3D printer's heating block. Insert the heating cartridge while the paste is still wet, and then allow it to dry. Boron nitride improves heat dissipation from the hot part of the heating cartridge, thereby extending its lifespan.

The paste is supplied in 5 cm³ syringes with a Luer-lock connection and is stable up to 850 °C in air and 1800 °C in a vacuum. The efficiency of boron nitride in high-temperature applications is so high that NASA is experimenting with it in high-temperature applications on their spacecraft for the first manned mission to Mars.

The paste increases thermal conduction between components, ensuring that your printer operates at maximum capacity. This provides your hot block with the uniform heat distribution it needs to deliver the best print quality in the shortest time. Additionally, boron nitride prevents your heating cartridges, thermistors, or nozzles from permanently sticking in your heating block.
