The SmallRig Cage for DJI Osmo Action 6 5888 is specially designed for the DJI Osmo Action 6. This all-encompassing metal cage provides rugged protection from impact while ensuring unobstructed access to all buttons and ports. Multiple expansion ports allow for seamless attachment of accessories, increasing filming efficiency.

The cage features a cold shoe mount for attaching lights or audio accessories, such as the DJI Mic 2 or the SmallRig Video Light (ID 5446). In addition, there are magnetic quick-release mounts on the side that are compatible with DJI's original Dual-Direction Quick-Release Adapter Mount. The open base design allows direct access to the camera's magnetic quick-release mount, enabling quick transitions between horizontal and vertical shots in combination with SmallRig's Dual-Mount Quick Release Supports (5890, 5779, 5991).

The battery slot can be accessed directly from the side without removing the cage, making battery changes effortless. There is also a side strap hole that allows users to attach the included hand strap for added safety during handling.

The detachable quick release bracket (removable with the supplied Allen key) retains full functionality after removal and allows direct mounting to the camera's magnetic quick release system.
