Tamron 67 mm UV
67 mm, UV filterProduct details
The sensors of digital cameras and color films are sensitive not only to the visible spectrum of light but also to the invisible ultraviolet portion. UV light can cause chromatic aberrations and thus blurriness when photographing. UV filters (properly UV blocking filters) block ultraviolet light and are usually colorless or slightly yellowish. By using UV blocking filters, especially at the coast or in high mountains, these effects are effectively suppressed. No correction of the exposure setting is necessary when using UV blocking filters. Additionally, the UV blocking filter serves to protect the front lens of the camera from mechanical damage, particularly scratches. The Tamron UV filter is suitable for all lenses with a diameter of 67 mm.
