EN/ISO 13850:2006. The XY2 CB switch must not be used if the installation requires an angled installation of the release wire; this is possible with the XY2 CE. In this case, the sum of the angles through which the release wire is bent must not exceed 180°. Emergency Stop Pull Wire Switches XY2CE & XY2CB, Telemecanique. These emergency stop pull wire switches are designed to reduce the risk of injury to persons and damage to machines or production products. They can be activated by a person with a single movement when a normal emergency stop function is not available, and they also activate if the release wire breaks. The switches feature forced opening contacts, with the activation of the switch occurring through forced operation. The switch locks in the activated position (normally open safety contacts). The normally closed contact is solely for signaling purposes. Includes a reset button, which allows the safety contacts to be closed again. Restarting the machine must only be done by manually operating a control device within the machine's start circuit, which is located some distance from the release wire switch. The recommended distance between cable holders is 15 m. (For XY2-CB30, a distance of 20 m is recommended.) The XY2 CE1A296 is supplied with a signaling light (direct supply).
