How this product works
The TL-FC111A-20 utilizes WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, allowing data to be sent and received over a distance of up to 20 km using just a single-mode fiber optic cable. This saves customers half the cost of cable deployment. The TL-FC111A-20 transmits data at a wavelength of 1550 nm and receives data at a wavelength of 1310 nm on an optical fiber. Therefore, the device used in conjunction with the TL-FC111A-20 should send data at a wavelength of 1310 nm and receive data at a wavelength of 1550 nm. Another media converter, the TL-FC111B-20, is one of the products that can work with the TL-FC111A-20.
