Ubiquiti's EdgeRouterX SFP is a managed professional router with a total of six ports: one SFP port and five passive 24 V Gigabit RJ45 PoE ports, all of which can be configured for switching purposes. The device is equipped with an 880 MHz dual-core processor and 256 MB DDR3 RAM and at the same time convinces with a particularly compact form factor. For your security, the router has an ACL-based and a zone-based firewall as well as NAT.
The router has its own user interface EdgeOS, which is easy to use and simplifies the configuration and monitoring of the router through advanced management and monitoring tools. Not only can you segment your network with 802.1q VLAN, but you can also benefit from features such as DHCP, Quality of Service (QoS) and network administration.
The router supports IPv6 and IPv4 as well as the routing protocols OSPF, RIP and BGP.
