The filter features a 20-layer nano-coating for enhanced durability, resistance to water, oil, and scratches, easier cleaning, and higher light transmission, resulting in sharper images with finer colors and greater depth. It has an ultra-thin rim to prevent vignetting and a robust magnalium construction. The filter is double-threaded for stacking with other filters or using screw-thread lens caps.
