The FD9166 is a compact camera with a resolution of 2 MP. It enables night surveillance through the introduction of SmartIR technology, which automatically reduces the amount of IR light for objects that are close to the lens, preventing overexposure.

The WDR Pro feature allows the camera to capture details in both shadowy and bright areas, making it suitable for installation in building entrances. Its compact size facilitates easy installation in restaurants, retail stores, or various residential areas. With an improved design, the camera is less susceptible to environmental factors such as smoke, dust, or insects entering the dome cover.

With an SD card and the Seamless Recording feature, the camera can record a video stream to the built-in storage during operation if the network connection is interrupted. Once the network connection is restored, a VAST server can retrieve the video footage from the SD card and continue recording.
