The 852-602 is an industrial, configurable managed Ethernet switch with 8 copper ports 10/100BASE-TX. The switch features a robust housing, redundant power supply, and functional monitoring with relays. The PROFINET certification (Conformance Class B) ensures easy integration into PROFINET automation systems via a device description file (GSD). Additionally, the device supports PROFINET Netload Class II.

The device supports flexible configuration of multi-port mirroring via the device description file or web-based management. With the help of function blocks, the cyclic diagnosis of the PROFINET switch can be efficiently implemented in the TIA Portal. An application note is available for this purpose.
