Das Zyxel Multy X ist ein beeindruckendes Mesh-System für grosse Flächen. Es ist anwenderfreundlich und stabil. Allerdings hat dies auch seinen Preis. Personen mit 2-Zimmer-Wohnungen sei davon abgeraten.

...Routerseitig blieben mit der zum Testzeitpunkt aktuellen Firmware 1.00 (ABKJ.1)C0 noch viele Wünsche offen: Von IPv6 gibt es keine Spur, Portweiterleitungen lassen sich nur über UPnP einrichten und mit dem VDSL der Deutschen Telekom mag Multy X mangels VLAN-Tagging über ein externes xDSL-Modem nicht kooperieren. Immerhin leitete das System als nachgeschalteter Router das Multicast-IPTV (Entertain)...
