1. Hoya HD Nano Mk II CIR-PL Filter

The HD nano Mk II coatings are the hardest, scratch-resistant, and dirt-repellent coatings offered by any manufacturer. The HD nano Mk II coating is 200% harder, providing a longer lifespan and better protection. The highly transparent polarizing film has 25% better light transmission than the standard polarizing film used in current photographic filters. This means that nearly half a stop more light reaches the lens while achieving the same polarization effect, maintaining the color balance of a standard circular polarizer while improving contrast and clarity. With the HOYA HD nano Mk II CIR-PL filter, you can create unique effects in your photos that cannot be achieved with editing software in post-processing. The newly developed coating adheres more firmly and densely to the glass surface through the nano layer than before. This results in particles with extremely high density being layered on the glass surface, leading to a hard and smooth coating. In addition to its ultra-hard and smooth properties, the HOYA HD nano Mk II coating features excellent water and oil-repellent properties, making filter maintenance simple and stress-free.

4. Hoya UV-IR 49 mm

Hoya has introduced the new Hoya UV & IR Cut Filter in sizes ranging from 49 mm to 82 mm. This specialized filter effectively cuts out both UV rays below 390 nm and IR rays above 700 nm, allowing only the light rays in the visible spectrum to pass through to the camera. This is crucial, as CCD and CMOS sensors are very sensitive to UV and IR rays that lie just outside the visible spectrum, which can negatively impact image quality.

The Hoya UV & IR Cut Filter blocks both UV and IR rays, resulting in clearer and sharper images outdoors. This filter can reduce the effects of atmospheric haze more effectively than a standard UV filter.

The light transmission curve of the Hoya UV & IR Filter illustrates the sharp cut characteristics of the filter glass and coatings, as well as the consistent light transmission in the visible spectrum. This curve shows a more uniform light transmission compared to the nearest competitor, resulting in sharper images with greater depth and richer color gradients when using the Hoya UV & IR Cut Filter.

5. Hoya STARSCAPE Astro Filter

The Hoya Starscape filter is designed for night landscape photography and reduces light pollution from artificial light commonly found in cities. The Hoya Starscape decreases light transmission in the spectrum range typically associated with light pollution from sodium and mercury vapor lamps, which are prevalent in most cities worldwide. As a result, the filter provides a clearer image with natural colors and improved contrast in the night sky. The Hoya Starscape filter is particularly useful for time-lapse photography. By reducing light pollution directly during the shooting process, it significantly decreases the time required for post-processing. The combination of the Hoya Starscape and Softon-A will further enhance the bright stars in the night sky, making the image even more impressive and appealing.

6. Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next CIR-PL Filter

The HOYA engineers have developed a new antistatic coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. Additionally, the hardened, antistatic top layer is water-repellent, stain- and scratch-resistant, and easy to clean when stains or fingerprints get on the surface. With circular polarizing filters, photographers can achieve creative, in-camera effects that are no longer possible after the image is created. A polarizing filter eliminates unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass, as well as light that reflects moisture and pollutants in the atmosphere. By rotating the ultra-smooth filter, you can select the exact amount of filtration needed for the desired creative effect. The new professional antistatic filters from the Fusion Antistatic Next series are made in Japan from carefully selected silicates that are meticulously melted and mixed to create high-performance optical glass. HOYA then applies utmost care and precision to coat the enhanced 18-layer Super Multi-Coating (on both sides) formula, which significantly reduces or eliminates reflections on the glass surface and achieves very high light transmission rates. This means that the filter has virtually no impact on the color balance, contrast, or clarity of the final image beyond its polarizing effect.

7. Hoya RA54 Red Enhancer 52mm

For more contrast and color saturation: The Red Enhancer, also known as the Didymium Filter or Intensifier, enhances contrast and boosts color saturation through its special coloration. Red, orange, and brown particularly benefit from the use of the Red Enhancer. The advantage is that the filter has little impact on other colors. This color filter is especially suitable for architecture when it comes to emphasizing specific areas. The use of the Hoya Red Enhancer is also highly recommended in autumn foliage or rocky environments.

8. Hoya PROND16 DEGREE 77 MM

9. Hoya Star Creative 4x 55mm

The STAR 4X is the popular artistic HOYA filter designed to create a dramatic 4-point cross flare effect. Available sizes (mm): 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77, 82. The HOYA STAR 4X filter produces a 4-point flare on light sources and is ideal for capturing night lighting, reflections on water surfaces, light filtering through leaves, jewelry photography, and other scenes with tiny light sources. Star filters create dramatic multi-point light reflections or light rays, also known as the "star effect," that highlight bright or strong point light sources. Star filters come in three different variants: STAR 4X, STAR 6X, and STAR 8X, each producing 4, 6, or 8 rays of light emanating from the light source. HOYA star filters feature structures that are etched into the surface of the high-quality optical glass of the filter to create the star effect. Each filter, STAR 4X, STAR 6X, and STAR 8X, has different line patterns etched into the glass to generate the number of light rays for the filter. The star filter creates a beautiful and romantic effect by radiating multiple light rays from a point light source or bright object in the image. The appearance of the rays can vary depending on the aperture setting, size, strength of the light source, and distance from the camera. Find the best angle for the star effect according to your personal preferences by rotating the filter frame. When recording a video, rotate the frame to achieve dynamic and rhythmic movements of the rays.
