The APC UPS Network Management Card (NMC) enables remote monitoring and control of individual single-phase and three-phase APC UPS systems via secure network browsers or external user interfaces. The NMC connects to the UPS via a web browser, user interface, or SNMP. The firmware, which can be updated via Flash, allows for remote installation of maintenance releases through FTP.
The Network Management Card provides access for multiple users, pre-installed support for multiple languages, enhanced security protection, and storage space for data and event logs. The NMC card with PowerChute Network Shutdown enables unattended, secure shutdown of physical servers, virtual machines, and HCI clusters. The network card supports a user-selectable password with strong password rules and a password reset mechanism.
