1. Creative Sound Blaster X4
External 7.1 high-performance sound card with amplifier, USB DAC, Super X-Fi, and SmartComms module kit. It features three surround sound technologies and seven input/output connections. It offers extensive sound enhancements with the external Sound Blaster X4 card, supporting multichannel audio up to 7.1-channel discrete sound in multichannel speakers and up to 7.1-channel virtual sound in headphones. It includes Super X-Fi headphone holography surround sound, vibrant Sound Blaster surround sound virtualization, and Dolby Digital Live.
The I/O connections include line-out, line-in, optical output, and optical USB-C input for power and audio. The microphone input and headphone input are designed for communication and feature the SmartComms suite with automatic mute and bidirectional noise cancellation, as well as CrystalVoice for clear recording and gaming communication.
Controls include volume control, a direct mute button for the microphone, and three equalizer modes. The device supports Super X-Fi and SXFI BATTLE speakers (line-out) and has a headphone switch to enable/disable the sound balance feature.
The software includes the Creative app via USB on Windows PC or Mac for complete sound customization and the Creative app via Bluetooth for Android and iOS for quick equalizer and sound enhancements. The headphone amplifier supports headphone impedance from 32 to 600 Ohms, with the SXFI BATTLE mode for gaming, providing realistic audio cues, details, and depth, as well as the Scout mode to hear faint sounds from enemies.
Sound performance is rated at 114 dB, 24 Bit / 192 kHz, with convenient power supply via the USB-C bus.
