13400f does not start. CPU led lights up. then i bought a 12100f to update the bios. 13400f won't boot despite the new bios. the only difference is that the cpu led is no longer lit. has anyone had similar problems?

I updated the Intel Management Engine last night and lo and behold, the CPU is finally working. Thanks for your tips Blackhusky

Unfortunately, I only have a 12400F installed.
But does another LED light up for it? Has the latest BIOS version been installed? Have you ever reset the BIOS after a BIOS update? (battery out or via jumper) Or is BIOS access possible?
